CDL A (Water Hauling)

Job Description
Work Schedule is primarily M-F 7am-5pm (Some rotating weekends)

Position Outline

CDL A/B Drivers should have basic knowledge of the operation as it relates to their truck, trailer, and equipment.

In all tasks, the individual will be required to set safety as the priority and apply those principles personally and to their respective team members.

Duties & Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:

Safely work in all-weather environments
Enforce and abide by company safety policies and procedures at any given location
Follow state and local traffic laws
Perform your assigned tasks safely and efficiently
Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on a daily basis
Understand the basics of equipment operation
Effectively operate a vehicle in adverse road and weather conditions
Complete company paperwork accurately and timely

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
Valid CDL Class A
Two (2) years of previous CDL-A/B driving experience
No major traffic violations within the last 5 years
Must pass pre-employment drug screening

Preferred Qualifications: 

Three (3) – years previous driving experience in the Oilfield Industry
SafeLand certification

Project Duties:

Communicate with supervisor via radio/phone regarding location, loads and hours worked
Communicate with business partners in a respectful and professional manner
Be proficient with truck, trailer, and equipment being operated
Ensure truck, trailer and equipment is in proper working order prior to departure
General cleanup of a truck, trailer, and equipment on a daily basis
Fuel truck on a daily basis
Attend all safety or company meetings
Work in all-weather environments
